Like the website that hosts it, this blog is only concerned with using art and brief texts to uncover the bias and other limitations of thought conditioned by memory and tradition, thus also revealing how this largely unacknowledged tribal egotism that affects all human beings creates and sustains the systemic disorder and violence of the world in which we all live.

Without a radical awakening to the immense distance between our mental and social reality and the truth, we are condemned to continue living in the same cruel division, conflict, and sorrow to which we ourselves sustain with our personal memories, thoughts, and desires.

The Plenitude of Love

Real love is not what accrues from the emotional attachment that a particular person develops for another person, for a religious or secular ideal, an institution, or a mere thing. The connection established between a subject and an object, or even between two subjects that see themselves as equals is not real love, not even if mediated by real affection and loyal dedication. The reason for this limitation is that such connections are still grounded on the illusion of existential isolation, and sustained in time by the conflicted and ultimately always barren efforts whereby it aims to overcome its intrinsic sense of loneliness and insecurity, presumably on its way to ultimate self-fulfillment. Only when an impersonal realization of the all-encompassing embrace of life and death obliterates the false conceit of existential separation, can the mystery of love manifest in plenitude.
