Welcome to ANTIDOTE

It is impossible to fully see and understand the intractable nature of social and psychological problems, if one remains ensconced in one of the many available ideological rationalizations of the human condition blocking sight of the inherently limited and divisive character of any form of mental being and becoming. Therefore, only the willingness to stand alone and free of cultural influences and personal projections, reveals the self in its conflicted relationship with itself, others and the world at large. And it is this revelation that opens the possibility of a serious and responsible life.

In the peculiar mental space created by this simultaneous abatement of ethnocentric and self-centered thought, crucial questions pose themselves without demanding answers that would be necessarily limited by experience and knowledge: —Is there an entirely different mode of being human? Is the chaotic and conflictive separation created by thought, coherent with the ever unknowable fact of life as a whole?

This site and ANTIDOTE in particular, exist with the sole purpose of nourishing the reflection and dialogue of those for whom the possibility of true freedom is the only issue that matters.

You will see art throughout this publication, as well as in the adjoining exhibit spaces. If you find anything that you would like to purchase, please let us know. Your order is essential to our general publishing and artistic effort.
